In this presentation Terry Mullins suggests that for any business to survive and thrive in the present circumstances it must be Sales Focused; but what does that actually mean?
Most of us are not particularly comfortable with the idea of selling and therefore resist doing it, often fooling ourselves that our marketing strategy is in fact a sales strategy. He argues that this is a fundamental mistake and that while marketing is important depending on it alone to generate clients puts us in a ‘reactive’ position, when what is needed is a ‘proactive’ approach to selling our services, one that gives us what he terms The Proactive Advantage.
