Level 1 – Basic knowledge and understanding

Level 2 – Application of knowledge to a subject

Level 3 – Reasoned advice, depth and synthesis of technical knowledge and its implementation

ACO Division: ACO Water Manager
Practical and Sustainable Surface Water Management - Level 3
  • Focus on the future of surface water management, SuDS and how we find a balance in our designs. Showcasing how keeping water flow at or near the surface can convey flow to SuDs solutions.
Managing Highway Surface Water - Level 2
  • Focus on product compliance with Highways England requirements and solutions which overcome problems encountered in urban and rural highway schemes.
Managing Rail Surface Water - Level 2
  • The presentation takes a detailed look at the design and specification of surface water management in rail applications.
Geocellular; Specify it Right-  Level 3 (undergoing accreditation)

The presentation takes a comprehensive look at Geocellular storage systems. Their design, specification, testing, approval and maintenance requirements. Finishing with interesting case studies.

Super Amphibian Highways - Level 2 (undergoing accreditation)
  • In this presentation we focus on biodiversity in the highway and the reason for decline with some of the solutions to prevent fragmentation and increase genetic diversity and achieve biodiversity nett gains.
ACO Division: ACO Building Drainage
Blue Roof Drainage Making Sustainable Urban Environments a Reality - Level 2
  • This presentation will explain the role of Blue Roofs in the creation of sustainable urban environments and cover key design considerations. This session will define the different types of blue roofs and their benefits, give highlights and explain key drainage design consideration.
