PIF is the independent UK membership body for people working in health information and support.

PIF has over 1,000 members from 300 cross-sector organisations (NHS, health charities, private sector, academia, patients).

The PIF TICK is the only UK-wide, quality mark for health information. Organisations must meet 10 quality criteria to achieve the PIF TICK.

PIF provides training, guidance and other resources to support people working in health information, supporting professional development and improving expertise in the sector.

PIF was founded in 1997. Our aim is to empower people to make informed decisions about their health and care.

Who should attend?
PIF training is aimed at anyone working in health information and support within the NHS, charity, voluntary and private sector. It is suitable for those starting out in health information and those wishing to improve and refresh their skills. It is also ideal for staff planning to return from furlough who may have lost confidence while away from work.
