The Beans Group is a media company that empowers young people to thrive. In 2005, James Eder founded the website Student Beans one week before his graduation, 9 years later the company has grown to a team of over 40 people and named Digital Business of the Year 2013 at the National Business Awards. The Beans Group run youth media brand Student Beans and youth insights consultancy Voxburner.

Student Beans provides content and resources across platforms to improve student life. The extensive and diverse range of technology and publishing products includes SB Mag, a digital lifestyle magazine, SB iD – a digital student card that unlocks discounts and SB Freshers – the award-winning National Online Freshers Fair.

The Beans Group also run Voxburner which provide brands and agencies the edge on the new generation via daily consumer insights, research products and industry events including the Youth 100 Awards and the annual Youth Marketing Strategy summit in London and New York.
