Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is a professional membership body that government and industry listen to while providing unrivaled support to their 95,000 civil engineer members.

Civil engineers are vital in helping provide the infrastructure that underpins everything we do. ICE works to help raise the profile of civil engineers, their work and professionalism, and inspire the next generation.

ICE recommends that members follow a regular CPD cycle and review their learning needs at least once a year. Up to the Professional Review stage, members should be doing an appropriate amount to support your Initial Professional Development (IPD). As the amount of CPD that members carry out is relative to developing and maintaining competence, ICE does not set a minimum CPD hours requirement.
