The British Computer Society

Historically, the British Computer Society (BCS) has been the founding institute within the IT industry. It has a wide and global membership, and requires CPD to be undertaken as a condition of membership once an individual has become a Chartered IT Professional (CITP). The BCS has an outcomes based CPD policy, and requires individuals to undertake a reflective approach to planning and sourcing their CPD activities. An online CPD recording system is also provided for members, more details can be found here: http://www.bcs.org/category/16876
