CPD Standards Research Consultation:
Moving CPD into the Digital Age
Monday 11th July, London 1:30pm- 5pm at The Royal College of Anaesthetists
In partnership with Memberwise, the CPD Standards Office is hosting a research consultation for membership organisations. Exploring the new “digital era of CPD” including new technology trends, as well as social and legislative demands, the consultation will focus on the real impact the digital age is having on CPD policies, recording and overall provision.
In this interactive afternoon, we will discuss the complex environment of CPD today and how it stays abreast with emerging government policy (specifically referencing the UK apprenticeship levy) and drawing on new trends such as micro-learning.
The consultation welcomes individuals from professional bodies, institutes, trade associations and membership organisations who are involved with membership value, CPD guidance and recording, professional development policies.
Delegates are welcome to bring anonymised CPD records from their membership records and share any burning questions or regular challenges faced around the guidance and provision of digital CPD resources and recording.
Please note that places are limited, and to secure your place please register here.
The overall outcomes from this thought leading consultation will contribute to the CPD Research Project by the Professional Development Consortium and its ongoing progress within the CPD arena. The results will be shared at the Membership Excellence conference, ‘Harnessing the Web’ on 4th October.
We would be delighted to see you there!
