Event Details

Education is at a crossroads. Teachers (and learners) are navigating unprecedented levels of stress, rapid change, and learners whose brains, needs, and expectations have been fundamentally shaped by recent global events.

This webinar invites educators, trainers, and leaders (even learners and parents) to pause, reflect, and reimagine how we teach, lead, and care for both ourselves and our learners. Drawing on neuroscience, neuropsychology, emotional intelligence, and professional coaching, Rachel Paling explores how wellbeing, resilience, and metacognition can be intentionally developed in educational contexts. Participants will discover how learning literally changes the brain, why resilience is trainable, and how coaching-based approaches empower teachers and learners to become more self-aware, autonomous, and adaptable in a 21st-century world.

Grounded in research yet deeply practical, this session offers hopeful, evidence-based strategies for sustainable teaching and learning. Rachel Paling is an educator, teacher trainer, practitioner-scholar, and professional coach with over 35 years’ experience in language education. She holds a BA (Hons) in Law and Spanish, an MA in Human Rights, an MA in Applied Neuroscience, and an MA in Neuroeducation and Neuropsychology.

She is a fully qualified UK lawyer (non-practising) and an International Coach Federation Master Certified Coach (MCC), certified Coach Supervisor, and ICF Coach Mentor. Rachel is the creator of Neurolanguage Coaching® and Neuroheart Education, with a global vision to transform teaching through neuroscience, coaching, and compassion.

Over the past 18 months she has been a Doctoral Fellow at the Coaching Research Lab at Case Western Reserve University, undertaking a DBA at the Weatherhead School of Management under the supervision of Professor Richard Boyatzis.
