The CPD Requirements

From The Professional Bodies, Associations, and Institutes for Practitioners in the Government Industry

ROYAL TOWN PLANNING INSTITUTE (RTPI)

All RTPI members are expected to commit to CPD that develops professional expertise, and must undertake 50 CPD hours over a 2 year period. Individuals must reflect on the value of their learning and submit their CPD records when requested by the RTPI.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ASSOCIATION (TCPA)

The ACT expect their members to undertake and record regular CPD training activities. Subject to some exemptions, all practitioners must complete ten units of CPD between 1 April and 31 March each year. At least one unit must be completed in each of four core areas.
