Amanda has served as Co-Founder of The CPD Standards Office since 2012, and also leads the organisation's accreditation and research function. She holds an MSc in Industrial & Occupational Psychology.

The CPD Standards Office was established following an extensive research project involving over 1,000 CPD participants and more than 100 training providers. That research found that CPD was often misunderstood, applied inconsistently, and at times undervalued — professionals were frustrated, and accrediting bodies were not aligned. These insights informed an evidence-based methodology for assessing and accrediting CPD training activities.

Today, The CPD Standards Office operates across 72 countries and has accredited the training programmes of more than 2,000 organisations, coaches, educators, and professional bodies.
